Airlines worldwide require pilots to have several hundred hours of experience on type to secure employment.  This program gives JAA Frozen ATPL qualified pilots the opportunity to receive a JAA B737 NG or A320 type rating combined with the first officer line experience on type the airlines are looking for in a cost effective manner.

Pilots can obtain the type rating with the TRTO of their choice. Type rating course information is to be obtained by contacting the TRTOs directly. The list of suggested TRTOs is available upon request. Depending on the TRTO selected by the pilot among the approved TRTOs, the lowest JAA B737 NG type rating course cost including aircraft base training and VAT is €18,400 EUR / £16,300 GBP.

Pilots enroll for the type rating course and make the type rating course payment directly with the selected TRTO. Pilots are not required to commit to enroll for the line training portion of the program upon type rating course completion. Once pilots have been issued their new JAA license including B737 type rating, pilots can then apply for the Eagle Jet International line training phase of the program whose pricing for the 500 hour program is about €24,900 EUR / £21,400 GBP.

• European pilots holding the JAA Frozen ATPL and MCC (MCC can be included/added to the type rating course if not previously completed; check with selected TRTO).
• First class medical.
• No flight time requirements.

Once pilots have been issued their new JAA license including A320 type rating, pilots can then apply for the Eagle Jet International line training phase of the program whose pricing for the 300 hour program is about €26,400 EUR / £22,600 GBP and for the 500 hour program is about €36,800 EUR / £31,600 GBP.
